Customer training in Fujitsu & MHI systems can be arranged through the FMAC Group. Training can take place either on site, at you offices or at MHI's or Fujitsu's training centers which are full of working systems and much of the training is hands on. In depth courses on the VRF range of equipment are available along with courses on the extensive range of split systems and controls.
FMAC Group’s in-house team use flexible design software to specify solutions which meet both technical and budgetary requirements. FMAC Group’s designers can produce a total package which includes full system drawings, wiring schematics and pipework drawings. In the case of large, complex applications, FMAC Group’s expert team will also advise the customer on the optimum interface between the aircon installation and the building management system.
FMAC Group has a team of highly trained field-based sales staff covering all of the UK. Fully conversant with FMAC Group's product portfolio, their aim is to ensure the selection of the most suitable system for customers’ needs. They can help to put end-users in touch with contractors and assist with site surveys and visit contracts if required. The central sales department at Head Office can also provide advice and quotations.
In the unlikely event of any problems during or after installation and commissioning, fault finding is made quick and simple thanks to the full back-up support of our highly experienced office or field-based technical staff, who are fully trained in the use of state-of-the-art diagnostic software. An extensive electronic library of manuals is available for customers to download if required.
FMAC Group's aim is not only to supply the right product, but to ensure that projects run to plan by providing exactly what the customer needs, exactly when it’s needed.
Our 11,000 sq ft purpose-built facility in Welwyn Garden City allows us to hold extensive stocks of both MHI & Fujitsu products to ensure availability as and when our clients require. We also stock a large range of spare parts so that in the unlikely event of a failure, down time is kept to a minimum.
FMAC Group has its own fleet of vehicles, giving complete control over meeting customers’ deadlines. If orders are placed by 11:00am, FMAC Group can offer next-day and timed deliveries. It is often possible to offer next-day delivery on orders placed later than 11:00am if product is in stock. Standard delivery is between 8:00am and 5:00 pm, but in the case of spares, specialised, flexible arrangements are available, with weekend or evening delivery if necessary.
FMAC Group can offer an extensive range of systems suitable for the expanding residential market. With a solution for almost any application from small 2.5kW window units through to large multi split systems.
Fujitsu & MHI residential air conditioning products offer a range of benefits: modern design, energy efficiency, high filtration levels, user friendly controls and ease of installation.
Fujitsu's Plasma wall mounted system ensure optimum internal comfort levels by not only cooling but also cleaning the air. Integral plasma air cleaning technology reduces dust levels by collecting minute particles in an electrostatic filter. This also suppresses odors and enables clean air to be released back into the room.
MHI's SRK-ZGX-S Super Inverter systems offers one of the highest levels of energy efficiency available with COP's of up to 5.41. Utilising MHI's high performance DC inverter compressors and unique heat exchanger technology that permits increased air flow over a smaller surface area.
For premises that need air conditioning in more than one room, Both Fujitsu & MHI offer a multi-split system – one outdoor unit is able to operate up to four indoor units. These systems can be used with a wide range of indoor unit types including, wall mounted, cassette, ducted & floor standing.
There is an extensive line up of indoor unit styles available across Fujitsu & MHI, which are as follows.
These combined with state of the art condensing units, utilising the latest inverter technology ensure that the systems we can provide are extremely energy efficient, with the majority of system appearing on the governments Energy Technology List.
All system now utilise R410A refrigerant which brings many benefits, not least it is environmentally friendly with zero ODP (ozone depleting potential) rating. This refrigerant also has much better heat transfer properties than other common refrigerants thus reducing the overall amount of refrigerant required in the systems.
Outdoor units range in size up to 25kW, some of which can be use to form the basis of twin, triple and quadrapole split systems. Refrigerant piping length of up to 70m means that outdoor units can be positioned in difficult installation spaces.
A wide range of control options are available, from hard wired and infra red controllers to BMS interfaces. FMAC Group are also able to provide bespoke control panels.
There are 3 distinct ranges of VRF products which are as follows.
The Fujitsu J Series & MHI Mini KX6 products utilise compact, single phase, 2 pipe (heat pump) condensing units. These systems provide heating or cooling to up to 8 indoor units from a single condenser. They bridge the gap between VRF and multi-split systems, making it ideal for both small commercial and residential systems.
The MHI KX4 & the Fujitsu V Series 2 pipe systems consist of modular outdoor units that can be combined to create extremely large condensing units of up to 48 horse power (136kW nominal). Up to 48 internal units can be connected to a single condensing units. These are heat pump systems and are ideal when all the connected indoor units will be running in the same mode (heating or cooling) such as large open plan offices or for cooling only applications. MHI will soon be launching the updated KX6 2 pipe system which will bring even more benefits such as increased energy efficiency and compact design.
The MHI KXR4 & Fujitsu S Series 3 pipe VRF systems provide systems with indoor units capable of both heating and cooling simultaneously. These systems are ideally when each indoor unit is required to have independent control, such as hotels or cellular offices. Again the MHI system utilises modular outdoor units to create systems up to 48 horse power (136kW nominal).
There are a wide range of internal units that can be used on these systems, which are as follows.
The range of controllers is made up of three control types: local, central and network controls. A wired local controller can monitor a single unit or a group of up to eight indoor units. With a central controller, up to 144 indoor units can be monitored individually. Various interfaces / gateways are available which allow the integration of the VRF air conditioning equipment with on site BMS (Building Management Systems) such as BACNet LONWorks.
MHI also have a range of SAF heat recovery ventilation units available. These enable the introduction of fresh air into the occupied space, thus improving the overall comfort level of the occupants.
