VRF systems are a popular choice for large commercial projects such as offices, hotels and shopping centers. FMAC Group have years of experience in applying such systems to these applications and as such you can be assured that your project requirements will be satisfied.
The wide range of system types and indoor units gives the flexibility to provide a solution to any application.
There are 3 distinct ranges of VRF products which are as follows.
The Fujitsu J Series & MHI Mini KX6 products utilise compact, single phase, 2 pipe (heat pump) condensing units. These systems provide heating or cooling to up to 8 indoor units from a single condenser. They bridge the gap between VRF and multi-split systems, making it ideal for both small commercial and residential systems.
The MHI KX4 & the Fujitsu V Series 2 pipe systems consist of modular outdoor units that can be combined to create extremely large condensing units of up to 48 horse power (136kW nominal). Up to 48 internal units can be connected to a single condensing units. These are heat pump systems and are ideal when all the connected indoor units will be running in the same mode (heating or cooling) such as large open plan offices or for cooling only applications. MHI will soon be launching the updated KX6 2 pipe system which will bring even more benefits such as increased energy efficiency and compact design.
The MHI KXR4 & Fujitsu S Series 3 pipe VRF systems provide systems with indoor units capable of both heating and cooling simultaneously. These systems are ideally when each indoor unit is required to have independent control, such as hotels or cellular offices. Again the MHI system utilises modular outdoor units to create systems up to 48 horse power (136kW nominal).
There are a wide range of internal units that can be used on these systems, which are as follows.

The range of controllers is made up of three control types: local, central and network controls. A wired local controller can monitor a single unit or a group of up to eight indoor units. With a central controller, up to 144 indoor units can be monitored individually. Various interfaces / gateways are available which allow the integration of the VRF air conditioning equipment with on site BMS (Building Management Systems) such as BACNet LONWorks.
MHI also have a range of SAF heat recovery ventilation units available. These enable the introduction of fresh air into the occupied space, thus improving the overall comfort level of the occupants.
